DESTINY BY THE SEA
RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Board of Directors and the Owners of Destiny By the Sea (DBTS) wish to welcome all guests to our neighborhood. In order for all of us to enjoy and preserve its charm and beauty, it is imperative that you adhere to the following.

ALL RULES ARE ENFORCED.

PARKING/MOTOR VEHICLES

• No overnight parking is permitted on the streets. If extra space is needed, park at the pool lot or at the Crab Trap Restaurant just west of DBTS.
• No parking is permitted on the grass between the sidewalk and the street or on vacant lots.
• Golf carts are permitted if driven on the street by a responsible person 16 years or older with a valid drivers license. Golf carts are not allowed on the sidewalks.
• All golf carts must be registered with the Association. Please see Golf Cart Policy for additional rules.
• Jet skis, boats, motor homes or trailers are not allowed unless concealed in a closed garage.
• Only vehicles with proper registration and license are permitted in DBTS.
• No motor scooters, mopeds, go-carts, including, without limitation, two-, three- or four-wheel motor scooters, all-terrain vehicles or dirt bikes may be operated on the common roads.
• No vehicle shall park across, or encroach upon, the sidewalk that crosses the driveway.

GARBAGE/TRASH

• Garbage containers need to be placed on the curb on Monday and Thursday evenings only.
• Please return containers to storage area after garbage has been collected.
• All garbage/trash must be in sealed bags and placed in the container. Bags on the ground will not be picked up.
• Recycle bins are only picked up on Tuesdays.

BEACH/GUESTS

• Owners and Rental guests must be on the premises when outside guests request admittance to the community, pool and beach.
• Please use beach walkovers only. No parking of vehicles or golf carts by the beach walkovers.
• All owners and guests/renters/tenants of non-gulf front property may set up chairs or umbrellas at the water’s edge. A gulf front lot includes all land up to the mean high water line, and thus is private property.
• NO TENTS OR TARPS ARE ALLOWED – Umbrellas and chairs only. All items must be removed from the beach by 7:30 PM daily so county tractors can groom and grade the sand to preserve cleanliness. Items not removed by this time will be subject to removal and disposal.
• NO TOWELS, BATHING SUITS OR CLOTHING ITEMS MAY BE HUNG FROM ANY BALCONY.

POOL/SPA

• Maximum pool bathing capacity is 26 people.
• All trash must be placed into trash receptacles. Any object brought to the pool must be removed when you leave the pool area.
• NO GLASS IN OR ON THE POOL DECK AND SPA!

LOUD NOISE

• The City of Destin has restrictive codes with respect to noise after 10 PM. Please be considerate of others

SPEED LIMIT

• 20 mph

Owners are financially responsible for any damages or liabilities caused by your guests.
